The word ‘Holy’ means ‘set apart’ biblically. At King Thrifts, one of our main desires is that this shopping, retail and community experience has a ‘set-apartness’ and one that can be attributed distinctly to the Lord. Not only set apart from other thrifts as cool and trendy 😉 --but evidently marked by, infilled and dwelling with His Spirit, His heart and mind in all we do & put our hands to.Maybe you are looking for a place to sell or donate clothes. Or maybe you have a desire for gathering around the King in community or you simply know you're longing for something new in life. Whatever it is, we’d love to have you here and along this journey as we run to chase after the lost, trade in community and walk humbly with the Lord our God.

Goal
One thing we’re excited to have open here at King Thrifts is a Partnership Program as a way to invite in and bless others. We are seeking partners who are willing to walk in humility with us in this. We want to develop a familyesque DNA as an embedded trait of King Thrifts as we seek to establish, build and expand with the Lord’s help a Kingdom-based network where people share, provide, sell and are buying clothes.
Not only are we excited for the exchange of clothes but also for an opportunity for Spirit-filled, lit on fire believers to be moving in His Spirit in this environment with open & willing hearts, reflecting the Kingdom of heaven with a goal of reaching the lost. Our base scripture for this can be found in the Book of Acts 4:32-37 where we love to see and can observe the heart posture of the early church. In another positive light we also have the blessing & opportunity to simultaneously be reducing waste through trading.

Acts 4:32-37
The Believers Share Their Possessions
32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.
How the Lord began it all.
One evening in the summer of 2023 while praying in my room, God laid it on my heart to open a thrift store. In the beginning, I was unsure of what I’d just heard or even for a while thought He was wrong. But low & behold, a few free provisions of inventory and one Holy Spirit filled, faith led-business class later, He’d begun to sovereignly move things within, throughout, and around me according to His will. Now I believe and am expectant for what He has in store (Ephesians 3:20-21).
A Kingdom Retail Hub—a network of believers not only for the clothes, yes to be sold and exchanged—but even more so for engaging a group of women both lost and saved to (1) experience the Kingdom and culture of heaven & most importantly (2) both engage & encounter the heart of the Father while in the midst of this retail experience. For His daughters to be filled with, equipped & sent back out with His love to carry back to the community around them with a heart set on expanding His Kingdom. For this love to flow through the community He has created both within King Thrifts and to be shared back out to the culture, world, neighborhood, restaurants, communities, families—you get the point :)—around us.
